There upon that snow peak stands,

A fading memory of a great relation.

The world saw them at their graceful dance,

And wondered if they were God’s own creation.

Swan’s grace was put to shame,

When they performed their ballad,.

This pair got a lot of fame,

Which turned their doom for all their play.

All they did was dance to tune,

With their souls and bodies merged as one.

The snow turned them whiter than the moon,

A punishment for their way of fun.

For their joy to dance they had danced,

Forgetting the snow that fell.

And now their grace forever was enhanced,

Their faces unchanged they remain in their frozen cell.

Their frozen dance emanated a great aura,

Which put a trance on any wavering eye.

The dancers merged with their bane’s flora,

Fighting the sands of time in the passes high.

In my heart does stand that sweet memory,

When I had the fortune of seeing them dance.

Now it pains to recount their tragedy,

What fate could do with a single chance!
